Will you speak words of Life or Death?

Lately I've been making a video blog. it's been really good for me because I am forced to express myself verbally, I'm good at expressing myself on paper but I havent been that great at verbal expression...but with this Vlog I am doing much better...all thanks to God.

but yesterday was a hard day for me, at least in the morning....
a person on my friends list on facebook (I no longer call him a friend) well he started chatting with me...I was nice to him....then all of a sudden he asked why I was fat in my photo's, it came out of no where and so I didn't know what to say, I asked him if he knew the effect that mean words had on people...but he didn't care...all he cared about was being hurtful and mean....he said a few other vulger things about my weight as well that I dont care to repeat...so I had made a video telling about what he did...because I wanted to be real and show people that their words effect people...

anyway my point is the words we speak to other people can either encourage them or tear them down....our words have that effect, even if we think they dont....so when a person calls you something mean like Karim did to me, then he was speaking failure and discouragement into my life....and it hurt because I thought he was a nice person...but he wasnt...
so when you talk to someone be careful about what you say to them...the Bible says that Life and Death are in the power of the tongue....
God wants us to speak encouragement and life into other people's lives.

but what do you do when someone like karim speaks death and mean words into your life....well it's okay to feel the pain of those words, you never want to suppress the pain, if you do that then it will explode, so it's okay to feel the pain of the hurtful words...BUT always give yourself a time limit....I gave myself 5 mins, I cried, I talked about it, and I felt the pain...but after those 5 mins were over...I was done with the pain....I went into the presence of God and He comforted me and He told me exactly what He thinks about me, I am His beloved daughter, He cares about me and He loves me just the way I am. He filled me back up with His Joy and His Peace.
so when someone speaks hurtful words into your life, give yourself a few mins to feel the pain (no more the 5 mins) but when that time is up...give it all to God and ask Him to tell you what He thinks of you...I promise you He thinks the WORLD of you =)
if you have gone through bullying (that is exactly what this person did) please comment if you want prayer for peace and joy, and I will pray for you.

May God Bless you

What is God Like?

 "What are the attributes of God? What is God like?"

Answer:
The Bible, God’s Word, tells us what God is like and what He is not like. Without the authority of the Bible, any attempt to explain God’s attributes would be no better than an opinion, which by itself is often incorrect, especially in understanding God (Job 42:7). To say that it is important for us to try to understand what God is like is a huge understatement. Failure to do so can cause us to set up, chase after, and worship false gods contrary to His will (Exodus 20:3-5).

Only what God has chosen to reveal of Himself can be known. One of God's attributes or qualities is “light,” meaning that He is self-revealing in information of Himself (Isaiah 60:19James 1:17). The fact that God has revealed knowledge of Himself should not be neglected (Hebrews 4:1). Creation, the Bible, and the Word made flesh (Jesus Christ) will help us to know what God is like.

Let's start by understanding that God is our Creator and that we are a part of His creation (Genesis 1:1Psalm 24:1) and are created in His image. Man is above the rest of creation and was given dominion over it (Genesis 1:26-28). Creation is marred by the fall but still offers a glimpse of God’s works (Genesis 3:17-18Romans 1:19-20). By considering creation's vastness, complexity, beauty, and order, we can have a sense of the awesomeness of God.

Reading through some of the names of God can be helpful in our search of what God is like. They are as follows:

Elohim - strong One, divine (Genesis 1:1)
Adonai - Lord, indicating a Master-to-servant relationship (Exodus 4:1013)
El Elyon - Most High, the strongest One (Genesis 14:20)
El Roi - the strong One who sees (Genesis 16:13)
El Shaddai - Almighty God (Genesis 17:1)
El Olam - Everlasting God (Isaiah 40:28)
Yahweh - LORD “I Am,” meaning the eternal self-existent God (Exodus 3:1314).

God is eternal, meaning He had no beginning and His existence will never end. He is immortal and infinite (Deuteronomy 33:27Psalm 90:21 Timothy 1:17). God is immutable, meaning He is unchanging; this in turn means that God is absolutely reliable and trustworthy (Malachi 3:6Numbers 23:19Psalm 102:2627). God is incomparable; there is no one like Him in works or being. He is unequaled and perfect (2 Samuel 7:22Psalm 86:8Isaiah 40:25Matthew 5:48). God is inscrutable, unfathomable, unsearchable, and past finding out as far as understanding Him completely (Isaiah 40:28Psalm 145:3;Romans 11:3334).

God is just; He is no respecter of persons in the sense of showing favoritism (Deuteronomy 32:4Psalm 18:30). God is omnipotent; He is all-powerful and can do anything that pleases Him, but His actions will always be in accord with the rest of His character (Revelation 19:6Jeremiah 32:1727). God is omnipresent, meaning He is present everywhere, but this does not mean that God is everything (Psalm 139:7-13;Jeremiah 23:23). God is omniscient, meaning He knows the past, present, and future, including what we are thinking at any given moment. Since He knows everything, His justice will always be administered fairly (Psalm 139:1-5Proverbs 5:21).

God is one; not only is there no other, but He is alone in being able to meet the deepest needs and longings of our hearts. God alone is worthy of our worship and devotion (Deuteronomy 6:4). God is righteous, meaning that God cannot and will not pass over wrongdoing. It is because of God’s righteousness and justice that, in order for our sins to be forgiven, Jesus had to experience God's wrath when our sins were placed upon Him (Exodus 9:27Matthew 27:45-46Romans 3:21-26).

God is sovereign, meaning He is supreme. All of His creation put together cannot thwart His purposes (Psalm 93:195:3Jeremiah 23:20). God is spirit, meaning He is invisible (John 1:184:24). God is a Trinity. He is three in one, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. God is truth, He will remain incorruptible and cannot lie (Psalm 117:21 Samuel 15:29).

God is holy, separated from all moral defilement and hostile toward it. God sees all evil and it angers Him. God is referred to as a consuming fire (Isaiah 6:3Habakkuk 1:13;Exodus 3:24-5Hebrews 12:29). God is gracious, and His grace includes His goodness, kindness, mercy, and love. If it were not for God's grace, His holiness would exclude us from His presence. Thankfully, this is not the case, for He desires to know each of us personally (Exodus 34:6Psalm 31:191 Peter 1:3John 3:1617:3).

Since God is an infinite Being, no human can fully answer this God-sized question, but through God’s Word, we can understand much about who God is and what He is like. May we all wholeheartedly continue to seek after Him (Jeremiah 29:13).

Jesus is GOD!

Jesus is GOD!

IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
He was present originally with God.

All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.

In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it]. John 1:1-5

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. John 1:14

Who is the Word? Jesus is!

After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness).

His eyes [blaze] like a flame of fire, and on His head are many kingly crowns (diadems); and He has a title (name) inscribed which He alone knows or can understand.

He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God.

And the troops of heaven, clothed in fine linen, dazzling and clean, followed Him on white horses.

From His mouth goes forth a sharp sword with which He can smite (afflict, strike) the nations; and He will shepherd and control them with a staff (scepter, rod) of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath and indignation of God the All-Ruler (the Almighty, the Omnipotent).

And on His garment (robe) and on His thigh He has a name (title) inscribed, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Who is the King of Kings? Jesus Is!

Revelation 17:14
They will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them; for He is Lord of lords and King of kings--and those with Him and on His side are chosen and called [elected] and loyal and faithful followers.

Who is the Lamb? Jesus Is!!

Isaiah 53:7
He was oppressed, [yet when] He was afflicted, He was submissive and opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.

^^^A Prophecy about Jesus.

John 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world!

John 1:36
And he looked at Jesus as He walked along, and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God!

^^^Jesus being called the Lamb of God

Jesus is the Lamb, He is also the King of Kings, Jesus is the King of Kings and He is also The Word, and Jesus is The Word.... this Means He Is GOD! Praises to Him. Jesus Is GOD!

I have been not so much scared to post this but I honestly didnt want to offend people who didnt believe in His deity...But tonight I was studying the Word and I felt the need to post this. I know according to islam they only think Jesus is a prophet...well that is a lie from satan, satan wants us to believe that Jesus was less then God because then that would mean that we wouldnt believe that we needed Jesus to save us from our sins and fully forgive them....but it's not true...Jesus is God, and ONLY through believing in Him can we be saved from sin and able to enter heaven.

If you feel like something is tugging at your heart, DONT ignore it....put your faith and trust in Jesus, because He truly is who He says He is in the Bible. And only through Him can we be saved and have ANY chance at going to heaven...Good works WILL NOT get you to heaven....ONLY through believing and accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior will you go to heaven...

If you have made the choice to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior please comment here and let me know so I may pray for you.

May the Lord Bless you all

Racism: what would Jesus do?

I had asked for subject ideas on facebook and a friend suggested that I do a post about racism, and I really don't know what to write, so I'll wait for God to reveal something for me to write................

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Racism is all over the world, even in these modern times, there are people who are racist of others because of their skin color and even because of their faith practice and belief's.
God does not condone racism, He says to love your neighbor as you love yourself, does that mean only love someone if they believe like you do? or if they are the same color as you are? NO if means no matter who the person is, we are commanded to LOVE them.
not everyone follows the Lord Jesus Christ though, so what about those people who do not follow the bible and they are racist against others, how are we suposed to handle those situations? well God tells us, we are to LOVE....we are to show them the Love of God even when they are racist. when someone is racist against you and is hateful toward you no matter the reason, do not respond in the same way, we are held to a higher standard set by Jesus Christ, so when they act hateful toward you even if their only reason is because your from a country they hate or your a different color or faith then them, this is your chance to minister to them, Show them the Love of God, no matter what they do or say, do as Jesus did. Jesus didn't defend Himself when the religious leaders took Him before Pilate, He stayed silent....so when someone shows hatred toward you, that is your chance to pray for them and Love them.
God Bless
Restoration
God is a Loving God and a God of restoration
I have a praise report to share, God is in the process of restoring my marriage.
I had thought that my husband and I were done because just a month ago his heart was angry and hard toward me, but our God is BIGGER, and He wants divine intimacy with us, and so once I started focusing on Him and not on my problems He started softening my husband's heart and mine. He spoke to me personally and He told me to follow my heart because He is leading my heart.
and so God softened my husband's heart and he is working on being a better husband to me, he is helping me and treating me like he should. right now we are still living apart because the house isnt ready for me and the kids to come back yet but when that is done and ready God will bring us back together.
right now I am trusting God and following what He is telling me....because God speaks to those who listen for His still small voice.
May you be encouraged and if you have been praying thank you and please continue to pray for God's will :)
Let your Light Shine
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. "
Matthew 5:16
 "But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also. "
Matthew 5:39
I had this tested today.....someone who called himself my friend got very angry at me for no good reason and he started cussing and insulting me, calling me stupid and all that....of course the reason why he got angry was very small and a silly reason to get mad at someone...espeshly at someone you suposedly call a friend....he wanted to chat with me on yahoo voice and I had said no....well this is not the first time this has happened between him and I....after the first time he got mad at me for no good reason I made it quite clear that I did forgive him but I didnt ever want to talk with him on mic. anyway back to today's incident....when he was cussing at me and saying all sorts of hurtful things, my human side [the sinful humanly flesh] wanted so bad to rear its ugly head and cuss him out and say hurtful things right back....I almost did too.....but I didn't....I prayed, and I kept my cool no matter what he said to me before I left the conversation....I stayed kind, no matter what he said to me....
One thing that we need to remember, when we become followers of Jesus Christ we want to show others His Love and Mercy, but sometimes someone will come along and tempt us to show our sinful side [by saying mean things back or something like that] and yes we will make mistakes, we will lose our tempers, no matter how much we try we are not perfect....BUT we serve a God who is....if we ask Him to He will calm us in times when we might lose our temper, and He can keep us from temptation....sometimes though we want to accept the temptation and that is when we mess up and sin....but He forgives us and we again ask Him to guild us and keep us from temptation....the important thing that we need to do is when people come into our lives and they and rude, hurtful or mean to us, let them be....dont stoop to their level....instead try praying for them, in doing that you will show them kindness.
anyway I wanted to share this little bit of information, hopefully it will help someone the same way it did me.
God Bless
